Irvin Yalom, MD. Dr Irvin Yalom is a Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Stanford University, prolific author and the best known group psychotherapist today. He is the recipient of numerous awards and author of 15 books including the classic and highly acclaimed textbook: Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy as well as several works of fiction such as Lying on the Couch and When Nietzsche Wept.

Nancy Morgan, Ph.D., DCC (Psy23397) is a licensed psychologist, trainer, and clinical supervisor experienced in facilitating groups in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings.
Nancy Wesson, Ph.D., CGP, FAGPA (Psy9621) has been in private practice and leading psychotherapy groups for over 25 years. Trained by Dr. Irvin Yalom, she has been teaching group psychotherapy courses for 16 years. She is the founder of the Center for the Study of Group Psychotherapy. See her CV here.
Jamie Moran, LCSW, CGP is a Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Consultant, working in Mental Health and Health Care since 1984. He specializes in psychodynamic group work, leading six weekly groups in San Francisco and Menlo Park, CA. Jamie has provided numerous trainings on a variety of group topics for therapists and group leaders. He is a Faculty member of The Psychotherapy Institute’s Group Therapy Training Program in Berkeley, CA. Additionally, Jamie works with individuals and couples across various populations and identities focused on grief, death and dying, burnout/stress management, gay men’s issues and homophobia. He offers individual consultation for group leaders.
