Nancy Wesson, Ph.D., CGP, FAGPA, is a licensed psychologist (Psy9621) and Certified Group Psychotherapist (by the American Group Psychotherapy Association) with over 25 of experience leading psychotherapy groups in diverse settings including residential treatment, schools, mental health agencies, and private practice. As of November, 2019, Dr. Wesson is a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA). Dr. Wesson was individually trained by Dr. Irvin Yalom and several other advanced group therapy clinicians and consultants. She has studied and taken advanced coursework in group therapy for over 25 years and continues to enhance her knowledge with the most up to date concepts. She has over 20 years of experience teaching group psychotherapy courses and providing professional level presentations about group psychotherapy. She has written several articles about group psychotherapy. She currently leads two weekly psychotherapy groups. See her CV here.
